Frequently Asked Questions
-
Are all of your beverages completely alcohol free?
Every product listed on our website is considered non-alcoholic in the United States, which means they are less than 0.5% alcohol-by-volume. If you want/need to drink 0.0% alcohol, see product details for specific nutritional information.
-
Do these products taste like alcohol?
The producers have done a great job of capturing the flavors, aromas, and textures of the wine and spirits. However, there are differences from alcoholic products because it is missing the alcohol, but we are certain you will enjoy these drinks just as much. You will surely be impressed by the quality and tastes.
-
How should I drink these products?
Embrace the idea of making cocktails, in this case mocktails! This is most important for the spirit substitutes (non-alcoholic gin, tequila, whiskey, etc), which are designed to be mixed into cocktails. If you are curious go ahead and try them plain, but it's not how they are really meant to be enjoyed. For wine substitutes, store them in the fridge and serve in wine glasses. Ready-to-drink sodas and sparklers are meant to be chilled straight from the can or bottle (a glass works too).
-
How do I store these products?
Check product labels for storage and shelf-life information. Generally, everything can be stored at room temperature before you open it no problem. Non-alcoholic spirits never need to be refrigerated, and will last at least 6 months after opening. Syrups and wines should be refrigerated after opening. Non-alcoholic wines will last at least a few days in the fridge, especially if you use a vacuum pump to remove the oxygen.
-
Can I drink these products if I am pregnant or on medication?
You should always consult your doctor in these situations. Even though the majority of our products are 100% alcohol free, we are not medical professionals and recommend consulting with a professional for your personal situation.
-
What if I am under the legal drinking age, is this for me?
While these products are safe and legal in most states, they have been made for adults and mimic the taste profiles of alcohol. Therefore, we do not recommend the sale or use of these products by anyone under the legal drinking age.
